The Best Deadly Poisons: Number Nine
Amatoxin
This ingested poison comes from the 'death cap' family of mushrooms. Ingesting about 50 grams of mushrooms will deliver the necessary .7 milligrams that is required to kill an adult. It kills you by disabling your kidneys and liver over the course of just a few days. For the majority of the time you remain conscious and in excruciating pain, toward the end when your body can take no more of its own poison you slip into a coma and pass away. This is my number nine, if you think this is bad, wait for number eight.
